The Historical Fiction Company (HFC) is a hybrid-publishing company that give editorial reviews on new books and also run a yearly writing competition. I submitted A Remembrance of Death to HFC for an editorial review a few months ago and my novel, after gaining a 5 star review, was submitted into the yearly book competition. I am very pleased to write that A Remembrance of Death won a gold medal in the Steinbeck Literary category!
Over 100 authors were longlisted for the Book of the Year Award and for Category Awards. It is a great honour for me to have had my work recognised in this way.
