Jacquelynn Kennedy from Reedsy Discovery said:
"What stunning example of how special a historical fiction novel can be. I love a novel that can dig in and really make you feel something. Tweeddale has done something very extraordinary with this one and I hope to see more from him in the future. A bit slow to start, but once it hooks you, the imagery displayed within these pages, the emersion that you find yourself in, and the exquisite pain of hopelessness and longing that you feel; this book will have you crying, laughing, and valuing the world you have now. I thoroughly enjoyed this one and I believe many will too."
Do pick up a copy and, if you like it, please put up a review on Amazon or Goodreads. Reviewing a book really does help an author.
